Catholic Youth Prayer Book:
I was privileged to be a co-writer on the first edition of the Catholic Youth Prayer Book (CYPB), and the primary author on the second edition.

When it comes to prayer, I don’t think there are any magic words or techniques. I think prayer is making oneself available to God. God is always present to us, the trick of it is to learn to stay present to God. The CYPB includes traditional Catholic prayers, prayer for teachers to use in classrooms, and prayer for individual reflection.

The CYPB is published by Saint Mary’s Press, and the first edition was released in 2005. The CYPB has been well-received, spending years on the (now defunct) Catholic Publisher’s Best Sellers List.  

Gather Faithfully:  Inviting Teens into Liturgical Ministry:
I loved working on Gather Faithfully. I was asked to write two books for this project-a Leader’s Guide and a Participant Guide to train teenagers in the liturgical ministry roles fundamental to Catholic worship. The project is designed as both inspiration and practical instruction.

Gather Faithfully was published by Saint Mary’s Press, and released in 2005.

I have written articles for several Catholic periodicals and ministries. I enjoy the opportunity that writing gives me to offer perspective and hope.
